Learn how the integration between Eviivo and Chekin works

Welcome! We are glad you have opted for our solution! This is a quick guide to help you connect your Eviivo account to Chekin and configure your Chekin account properly.

Registration in Chekin and connection:

Fill out the Registration for hosts form following steps 1-11 below.

1 - Add the name of the account

2 - Add the email address (that you would like to have as your Chekin username)

3 - Add the password

4 - Select the type of property

5 - Add the number of accommodations or rooms you manage via Eviivo

6 - Add the city/region of the property

7 - Add your phone number

8 - Do you want to connect your PMS? Choose ´Yes´ and then choose Eviivo from the dropdown menu that appears

9 - Click continue

10 - When you click on continue it will bring you to the following page. You will need to add your Eviivo Client secret and Client ID

11 - Click ´Connect with Eviivo´

NOTE: Once you click ´Connect with Eviivo´ it will redirect you to the Chekin dashboard where you will see your properties and reservations importing. The account has now been created and you will need to configure it. Please see this Onboarding guide to assist you with the configuration of the dashboard.


Setup of your Chekin dashboard

End of trial period: how to subscribe*

Once you connect to Chekin you have a trial period of 2 weeks where you can register all the guests you receive in your accommodations.

When the trial ends, you need to complete your subscription to continue using the service. You can do this by clicking on ´Subscribe now´ at the top of the dashboard and following steps 1-6 below.

  1. Select the number of rooms or properties (for vacation rentals) of your subscription. The minimum charge for a hotel plan is 20 rooms;

2. Select your preferred billing period. You can choose between a monthly or a yearly subscription;

3. Choose the payment metod: Direct debit or credit card and add the payment details.

4. If you chose SEPA/Direct debit, you will need to fill out the following details:

5. If you choose credit card, you will need to fill out your credit card number, expiration date and CVC code

6. Once you have filled out the payment method details click on Subscribe now:

Your Chekin subscription is complete!

Once you have an active subscription and a valid payment method, your subscription will automatically renew at the end of the period. You can change between monthly and yearly subscription whenever you want, and any changes in the number of active rooms or properties will automatically update your subscription, so Chekin will charge you only for the active properties or rooms during the corresponding period. In the Billing section you can also check past invoices.


How to disconnect from Chekin

You can cancel your Chekin subscription at any time you want, by going to the Settings>Billing>Cancel Plan:

This will stop your account from renewing automatically, but you will be able to access it until the end of the paid period.


How to get support from Chekin Team

If you have any doubts or find issues along the process, you can easily get help from your dashboard by clicking on “Help” in the top banner. You have 2 options: visit our help center or chat with us. You can also send an email to [email protected]


What info is synced with the integration

  • Chekin imports: Bookings, Booking Reference, Booking language Lead guest phone number, and Properties (as long as you click SYNC PROPERTIES in your dashboard when you add a new property to your Eviivo account, as per screenshot below.

FAQs

I am a Chekin user already, can I use my existing account for the Eviivo integration?

Unfortunately no, the connection with Eviivo requires creating a new Chekin account. NOTE: Please make sure to download all the documentation from the old account as once it is eliminated the documents will be eliminated as well. Once you do this you can create a new account and connect it to Eviivo.

How can I add bookings to my Chekin account?

All your Eviivo bookings will be synced in your Chekin account, so you don’t need to generate them again!

How frequently bookings are synced in Chekin?

All your Eviivo bookings are updated in your Chekin account every 3 hours.

Is the online check-in link sent to my Eviivo account so I can add it to my PMS auto emails/messages?

Yes, we send the online check-in link back to the PMS.

Is the remote access key(s) sent to my Eviivo account so I can add it to my PMS auto emails/messages?

Yes, we send the remote access key(s) back to the PMS.

Does Chekin send guests data back to my Eviivo account?

No, for this integration we don’t send guests data back to the PMS.

Is Chekin able to retrieve the source of the booking from Eviivo? (e.g.: Booking.com, Airbnb, Direct Booking)

No, for this integration we do not sync the booking source from the PMS.

Is Chekin available on mobile devices?

I am using the mobile app but I can’t change some settings of my account/properties

The app is only for managing reservations and registering guests. All your properties and account settings, as well as the documentation and billing information of your account can be managed from the online Dashboard.
