# Your contract with Chekin: Terms and Conditions and Data Processing Agreement (DPA)

## Where to view or download your contract with Chekin and the data processing agreement, and how to request a signed copy.

You sign up for Chekin online, and no separate document is signed. The contract between your company and Chekin is the **Terms and Conditions** you accepted when you registered.

### What about the data processing agreement (DPA)?

When you use Chekin to register your guests, you are the **data controller** for their personal data and Chekin acts as your **data processor**. This relationship is governed by Chekin's **Data Processing Agreement** (the processor contract required by Article 28 of the GDPR, also called a DPA). If you have not signed a specific agreement with Chekin, Chekin's generic data processing agreement applies, which you accepted together with the Terms and Conditions.

### Where to find them

You can read, download or print them at any time. These pages always show the current version:

### If you need a signed document

If you need the data processing agreement signed by both parties, email us at [support@chekin.com](mailto:support@chekin.com) with the company name and tax ID that should appear on it. We will pass your request on to the team in charge.

Also write to us if you signed a separate contract with Chekin (for example, a partner or enterprise contract) and need a copy, or if you want to propose changes to the clauses.
