How to create a white list on Booking.com

In this guide we will help you to create a white list on booking.com

Booking.com removes links from messages: how to fix it

If you notice that the links sent through Booking.com messages (such as your Chekin check-in link) are missing or have been removed, this is usually caused by Booking.com's security settings—not by Chekin.

Booking.com automatically filters links and email addresses that have not been explicitly approved to help protect guests from phishing and fraudulent messages.

Why does this happen?

Booking.com has introduced messaging security settings that allow only approved email addresses and links to be included in messages sent to guests.

If a domain or email address has not been added to your approved list (whitelist), Booking.com may:

  • Remove the link from the message.
  • Block email addresses.
  • Prevent guests from seeing the check-in link.

How to resolve the issue

To ensure your Chekin messages are delivered correctly, you need to add the following email address and domains to your Booking.com whitelist.

Step 1. Log in to your Booking.com Extranet

Sign in with an account that has administrator permissions.

Step 2. Open the messaging security settings

Go to:

Property → Messaging preferences → Security settings

Depending on your account, Booking.com may ask you to complete two-factor authentication before accessing these settings.

Step 3. Add the approved email address

Add the following email address:

Step 4. Add the approved domains

Add each of the following domains:

Once saved, Booking.com will recognize these as trusted links and will no longer remove them from your messages.

Additional information

This configuration only needs to be completed once for your Booking.com account. After the domains and email address have been approved, future Chekin messages containing your guest check-in link should be delivered correctly.
