This setup is done from the Police Connection section in your Chekin dashboard.

🧾 What you need before starting

Before configuring the connection, make sure you have:

  • An active account with medatec.at

  • The community number (Gemeinde) assigned to your accommodation

  • The mapping code (Objektcode) provided by medatec.at for your property

If you don’t have a medatec account yet, you must create one first on medatec.at.

  1. Activate police data transmission

    • Enable “Activate sending of guest data to your police account”

    • Check “Send guest data automatically”

  2. Select the provider

    • In “Send info to”, choose Medatec

  3. Enter your medatec details

    • Community number (Gemeinde)
      This identifies the municipality where your property is registered.

    • Mapping Code (Objektcode)
      This identifies your specific accommodation within medatec.

  4. Validate the connection

    • Click Validate

    • Chekin will check that the provided details are correct and active

Once validation is successful, the connection is complete.
