Keyguru Integration
In this article we will explain how to connect your KeyGuru smart locks with Chekin.
If you have a smart lock provided by Keyguru you have to activate the Remote Access tool in your Chekin account. Please follow the steps below to do so.
Step 1: You must first log in to your Chekin account via the web.
Step 2: Once logged in, go to the "properties" tab and click on your property to access the settings. Then just follow these steps to activate it:

Step 3: Click on the "Remote Access" icon within your property settings.

Step 4 - Click the button ´Activate in this property´.

Step 5: Once activated, a pop-up window will appear asking you to select how many properties to activate the functionality on. Once you enter the number of properties, click on ´Upgrade to premium´on the right.

Step 6: Next, you must click on ´Add your lock account´ to select your smart lock provider from the options we give you.

Step 7: Click on the Lock Type dropdown

Step 8: Choose ´Smart Lock´.

Step 9: Select the provider from the second dropdown menu.

Step 10: Add your KeyGuru API key

Step 11: Add a Lock account name (optional).

Step 12: Click ´Continue´.
Step 13: Your account has now been added. A new box will appear to start adding the doors. Click on ´Lock account´.

Step 14: Choose KeyGuru.

Step 15: Add your Device.
Step 16: Add the Drawer.

Step 17: The door name will automatically populate. You can update it if you wish.

Step 18: Add Access Type. If you choose Private you will need to add the room. If you choose Common you do not have to add the Room.

Step 19: Choose the Lock Opening Type (currently the integration only supports codes).

Step 20: Add any digits that should be excluded from the codes (digits that do not appear on the keypad).

Step 21: Click ´Add Door´.

Step 22: The door will now appear in your account.

Step 23: If you have more doors to add you will need to add them one by one by clicking on this button:

Once your account and all of your doors have been added you will need to continue with the rest of the settings on this page:
Step 1: Add Instructions for your guests. This is optional.

Step 2: Add the Opening Period.

Step 3: Add the Guest App Display Settings (Control what check-in/out times are shown to guests in the online check-in page, independent of the lock code validity period).

Step 4: Configure the Key Sharing settings.

Step 5: Configure the Key Generation settings.

Congratulations! You have now successfully integrated KeyGuru with Chekin.
