How to Request Credentials and Connect to Umbria Turismatica

What is Umbria Turismatica?

https://turismatica.regione.umbria.it/ is a data management system used in Italy for reporting tourist statistics, particularly guest information. It is used by accommodation providers—such as hotels, guesthouses, and rental properties—to record and submit guest data required by regional regulations. The system helps authorities monitor tourism trends and ensure public safety.

Who must submit data?

All accommodation providers in the Umbria region—including hotels, guesthouses, apartments, and other lodging facilities—are required to submit guest statistics to the regional Turismatica portal.
This obligation is established by regional tourism laws to ensure accurate monitoring and compliance with local regulations.

Accommodation managers must regularly report details such as:

1. Guest names and dates of birth

2. Arrival and departure dates

3. Nationality

4. Type of accommodation

Important

This integration is not automatic at the moment. The Umbria region does not allow automated data submission.
Chekin will assist you by generating a ready-to-upload file. Once generated, you must access the regional portal and upload the file manually.

How to connect Umbria Turismatica in Chekin

1. Click on the Properties section.

2. Select Legality from the left menu and enable the Istat connection.

3. Select the Umbria region and save your changes.

How to download the file from Chekin

1. Go to the Reservations section.

2. Click the “More actions” button (top right)
   
   

3. Select “Download Umbria – Turismatica Report.”
   
   

4. A pop-up will appear to generate the file:

   • Select the property or properties to include

   • Select the reporting date range

   • Click “Generate Report”

   • Go to the Documents section, under Umbria – Turismatica, where you will find the generated files

    

   How to upload the report to the official portal

   1. Log in (e.g., via SPID) at https://turismatica.regione.umbria.it/

   2. Open the upload/import area for statistics and select the file generated by the PMS.

   3. Confirm the upload and verify that the portal shows a success message.

   Make sure there are reservations within the selected date range for the chosen property or properties.
