What is the Trento Stu?

is a data management system used in Italy for reporting tourist statistics, particularly guest information. It is used by accommodation providers—such as hotels and rental properties—to submit statistical data about their guests. The system helps authorities monitor tourism trends and ensure public safety.

Who must submit data?

All accommodation managers in the Sicily region—including hotels, guesthouses, apartments, and other lodging facilities—are required to send guest statistics to the Observatory portal. This requirement is mandated by regional tourism regulations to ensure accurate monitoring and compliance with local laws.

Accommodation providers must regularly report data such as:

Guest names and dates of birth
Arrival and departure dates
Nationality
Type of accommodation

What are your credentials?

On the trento stu home page, you will need to enter your:

username
password

Click on "Invia" to login

These are your login credentials, you will need to use the same credentials on your Chekin account.

NOTE: Please ensure that these credentials are correct before adding them to your account.

How to connect it in Chekin

Connecting your account is very simple. Just follow these steps:

Log in to your Chekin account.
Click on Properties at the top, select your property, and go to the Legality section.
Below the police connection, you will find the Statistics connection. Select "Trento Stu-API"

You will see a field called ‘establishment code’ next to the username and password: you will need to open the menu and select the name of your accommodation to complete the configuration.

Remember to validate and save the changes.
