How to register on the Mossos platform

Introduction

To comply with current regulations in Catalonia regarding guest registration, all tourist accommodation establishments must be registered on the official Mossos d'Esquadra platform.

Once access has been obtained, you will be able to connect the credentials directly with Chekin in order to automate the transmission of guest data and simplify compliance with mandatory legal reporting requirements.

Below, we explain step by step how to complete the registration process correctly.

 1. Access the official Mossos d'Esquadra portal

You must access the official Mossos d'Esquadra traveler registration portal using the following link:

From this portal, you will be able to request the registration of your tourist accommodation and obtain the credentials required for guest reporting.

 2. Select the “Accommodation Registration” option

Once inside the portal, you must select the option:

“Accommodation Registration”

You can also access it directly through this link:

This option will start the official registration process for the property.

 3. Complete the PI-15 form

The next step is to complete the official PI-15 form with all the accommodation details.

The requested information usually includes:

• Accommodation name
• Full address
• Accommodation type
• Tax information
• Owner or manager details
• Contact information

It is important to verify that all entered information is correct and matches the legal registration details of the property.

  4. Select the communication channel “Internet (CME website)”

During the registration process, the system will ask you to select the communication method.

You must choose the option:

“Internet (CME website)”

This configuration is essential in order to later use the automatic integration with Chekin.

  5. Receive your username and password

Once the registration has been completed and approved, you will receive the official access credentials:

• Username
• Password

These credentials will allow access to the Mossos d'Esquadra portal and can also be connected directly to your Chekin account to activate the automatic guest reporting integration.

Once configured in Chekin:

• traveler reports can be sent automatically;
• manual management will be reduced;
• and compliance with legal registration obligations will be simplified.
