Updated over a year ago ### **How to connect SIRE to Chekin** ### **Introduction:** ### **Importance of Guest Registration in Vacation Rentals and Hotels** The guest registration process is mandatory in Columbia, and if you manage an accommodation there, you are required to send the foreign guest data to the authorities. In this article we explain how to activate the SIRE connection in your Chekin account in order to send stated data to the authorities. ### **1: Necessary Documentation** In order to connect Chekin to your SIRE account you need to use your login credentials that you use to log in to SIRE, as per the screenshots below. ### **2: Connect SIRE to Chekin in the Chekin dashboard** Once you have the credentials with you, please follow the below steps to connect SIRE to Chekin. 1 - Enter the Chekin dashboard. Go to the dashboard and click the ´Properties´ tab. Click on one of the properties you would like to connect to SIRE.
