How to Connect Chekin with Turespazo Galicia (VUT)

What Chekin Sends to Turespazo

Chekin submits statistical occupancy data only, as defined by Turespazo’s official integration model.

For each stay (group of guests between two dates), Chekin sends:

• Arrival date

• Departure date

• Country of residence

• Province of residence (if Spain)

• Gender

• Internal service ID (to prevent duplicates)

Turespazo stores the data exclusively for statistical purposes.

How the Chekin–Turespazo Integration Works

1️⃣ Chekin Is Authorized as a Provider

Chekin is registered with Turismo de Galicia and uses a company service token to connect to Turespazo services.

2️⃣ You Provide Your Turespazo Credentials

To activate the integration, you must provide Chekin with:

• Your Unique User Token

• Your VUT Signature

These connect your property to Chekin securely.

3️⃣ Chekin Validates the Property

Before sending occupancy data, Chekin verifies:

• That your token is valid

• That your VUT signature matches

If validation fails, we notify you.

4️⃣ Automatic Occupancy Submission

For every confirmed stay, Chekin sends occupancy data via API to Turespazo.

5️⃣ Asynchronous Processing

Turespazo:

• Stores data in an intermediate table

• Consolidates it asynchronously

• May take some time to appear in the official calendar

If multiple services send overlapping data, the most recent submission is considered valid (last-write-wins rule).

 

How to Activate the Integration in Chekin

Step 1 – Log in to Turespazo

Access your account in Turespazo.

Step 2 – Open Your Property File (Ficha)

For each VUT property, locate:

• 🔐 Unique User Token

• 🏠 VUT Signature

The token is displayed in the property file and is linked to your user and assigned VUTs.

Step 3 – Enter the Credentials in Chekin

Inside Chekin:

Click Save.

Chekin will validate the connection automatically.
