[Police connection](https://support.chekin.com/en/legal-requirements?hsLang=en#police-connection) # How to connect Chekin to SES Hospedajes platform ### How to connect Chekin to SES Hospedajes platform ### Updates on Submitting Data to SES Hospedajes You will no longer need to send your guests' data to the Guardia Civil or the Policía Nacional Webpol. Now, communications must be sent to SES Hospedajes application of the Ministry of the Interior. This change does not apply in the Autonomous Communities of the Basque Country and Catalonia, based on regulations published by the Government of Euskadi and the Generalitat. In these territories, you should continue submitting your guests' data and bookings to the Mossos or the Registro Hotelero de la Ertzaintza. Additionally, the amount of data to be collected has increased considerably, including not only the personal details of guests but also information about bookings. Furthermore, highly sensitive data is now required, such as payment methods, amounts, bank card numbers, or bank account numbers. This regulation requires the data of all guests, **including those under 14 years old**. ### Create SES Hospedajes account If it's the first time you create an account for SES Hospedajes, you will have to complete the account creation setup in the same [SES hospedajes page](https://sede.mir.gob.es/opencms/export/sites/default/es/procedimientos-y-servicios/hospedajes-y-alquiler-de-vehiculos/). You will need to register using a digital certificate. This password is set by the host and could be anything ### Enable SES Hospedajes Web Service NOTE: - The obligation to report guest information to **SES Hospedajes** falls on the **person responsible for the operation of the accommodation**. - Only one account needs to be created; if you have more than one property, you must add all of them to the same account. In order to connect Chekin to your SES.Hospedajes platform you need to enable the "**web service**" option for your account. To do so follow the below steps: 1\. Visit the [SES Hospedajes page](https://sede.mir.gob.es/opencms/export/sites/default/es/procedimientos-y-servicios/hospedajes-y-alquiler-de-vehiculos/). 2\. In the table look for "Acceso al registro de establecimiento y entidades" and click in the "@" button in the "Acceso" column. Here's you'll see your account data, find the checkbox ad the end of the form for "**send communications via web service**" 5\. Check this box and **save** the changes. To connect you account: 1\. Log in to your Chekin dashboard. 2\. Navigate to Properties and **select the property** you would like to connect SES to. Click on **Legal**. Activate the Police Connection and select SES Hospedajes from the dropdown menu. If you have changed your password in SES, you have to use the last one you added in their system. 6\. Now your account is connected with Chekin! **IMPORTANT!** If after filling out the above information in Chekin, your are receiving an error, please follow the below steps. 1\. Log back into SES HOSPEDAJES account and click on "Acceso al registro de establecimiento y entidades" and click in the "@" button in the "Acceso" column. Untick the ´Envío de comunicaciones por servicio web´ box and **save** the changes. THEN tick it again and save changes again. This will trigger a NEW email to be sent to you from SES HOSPEDAJES with a new username and new password.
