How to enable the camera access in Safari browser and how to restore it in case is blocked

Updated over 2 years ago

If you are using the scanner feature on any of Chekin services for the first time on a Safari browser, you need to allow the access of the camera.

When Safari ask you to use the camera click "Allow"

Important: If you select "not allow" you won't be able to use the camera and will have to complete the personal data manually and you won't able to complete the identity verification.

Re-enable a blocked camera

If your camera is blocked in Safari or if you blocked the access by accident, there's a few steps you'll need to take in order to re-enable the use.

1 - Click on the "settings for this website" located to the left of the search bar.

2 - Click on "camera", which will open a drop-down with three different options.

3 - From the options, select Allow.

4 - Refresh the page.

That's it! You should have the camera up an ready.

Note: It's important to refresh the page to see the changes effective.
