Find the iCal link from the most popular OTA sites (Online Travel Agency) to import the reservations into Chekin.

If you don't work with a PMS or Channel Manager, you can automatically import reservations from the most popular OTAs (Online Travel Agency) like Airbnb, Booking.com, Expedia, HomeAway, etc. by synchronizing the iCal to your properties, so you won't have to create manually each reservation every time.

If you're wondering how to find the iCal, here are some quick guides for the most popular sites.

Finding Airbnb iCal

  1. Log in to your Airbnb account.

  2. Click Host and click again on Manage Listings.

  3. Select Calendar and More on the listing you want to get the iCal.

  4. Click Availability Settings in your calendar view.

  5. Under Sync calendars, click Export Calendar.

  6. Copy the iCal link.


Finding Booking.com iCal

  1. Log in to the booking.com extranet.

  2. Click on the Calendar or Rates & Availability tab and select Sync calendars. This will take you to your calendar sync overview page.

  3. Click on Add calendar connection, then scroll down and click on Skip this step.

  4. In the pop-up that appears, give your connection a name and then click Export Calendar.

  5. Copy the iCal link by clicking on Copy link.

Once you paste it on the property settings, you can go back to the extranet and click Done.


Finding Expedia iCal

  1. Log in to your Expedia Partner Central account

  2. Select Room types and Rate plans under Rooms and Rates in the menu.

  3. Click on Connect calendars.

  4. Select which room or unit you would like to connect.

  5. Go to the Export Expedia Group calendar section and click Create link.

  6. Copy the iCal link.


Finding Vrbo (HomeAway) iCal

  1. Log into your Vrbo account.

  2. Click the Import/Export arrows icon on the top right-hand side and select Export Calendar.

  3. Copy the iCal link.

Note: In Vrbo you can only export your booking calendar if your listing is active.
