Overview:
If you manage a vacation rental in the Czech Republic, it is mandatory to send guest data to the Uby Port Police Portal This step is required to comply with local regulations. Below is a simple guide on how to do it using Chekin:
VERY IMPORTANT: To connect your Chekin account to UbyPort 2.0, follow these steps:
Send an email to
[email protected]
with the following request:
Subject: Access to UbyPort 2.0 Web Service
Message: "Hello, we would like to send guest data via web service from Chekin to UbyPort 2.0. Please provide us with the necessary username and password for the web service connection. For this, we are including the IDUB codes of all our properties."
Include in the email the IDUB codes (UbyPort IDs) for each of your properties. This is necessary for Josef to generate your web service credentials.
Step 1. Login to your Chekin account and click on ´Properties´
Step 2. Select the property in question
Step 3. Select ´Legal´
Step 4. Fill in the username, password and property fields.
Once you receive the credentials:
Go to the Properties section in your Chekin dashboard.
Edit each property and change the connection type from UbyPort to UbyPort v2.
Enter the new username and password you received.
Note: A valid username for this new integration typically starts with
UBY-WS
NOTE: The username and password are the ones you use to login to your UBY Port account here.
Step 5. Click ´Validate´
Your account has now been connected.
NOTE: The guest data is automatically sent to the authorities on the day of check-in around 19.00h. If the guests register past this time, you will need to manually send the data by opening the reservation in Chekin and click SEND MANUALLY:
