[Others](https://support.chekin.com/en/others?hsLang=en) # Allow access to camera in Safari Allow access to camera in Safari ### Allow access to camera in Safari How to enable the camera access in Safari browser and how to restore it in case is blocked Updated over 2 years ago If you are using the scanner feature on any of **Chekin** services for the first time on a Safari browser, you need to allow the access of the camera. When Safari ask you to use the camera click "**Allow**" **Important**: If you select **"not allow"** you won't be able to use the camera and will have to complete the personal data manually and you won't able to complete the identity verification. ### **Re-enable a blocked camera** If your camera is blocked in Safari or if you blocked the access by accident, there's a few steps you'll need to take in order to re-enable the use. 1 - Click on the **"settings for this website"** located to the left of the search bar.
